Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Customer Service Manager, you will be part of the world’s first intelligent control center for renewable energy assets. 

Unlike traditional control rooms, where agents manually perform most of the tasks, our SECC service automates most of the operations leaving for the agents the tasks that require analysis, troubleshooting and close interaction with customers and support of on-site technician.

As the renewable energy sector grows, SCADAs are more relevant, becoming the key to the success of the whole energy system itself. Working in this department will allow you to grow your professional career dedicated to SCADA systems. You will gain experience in working with both old and modern SCADAs and will operate entire portfolios of wind, solar, and hydro plants.

We are looking for:

Technical degree in IT or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of experience in the administration and troubleshooting of the following:

  • SCADA systems
  • OS Microsoft and Linux management
  • Databases Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL
  • Network devices such as CISCO and Fortinet  (or equivalent)

Required skills

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (oral and written). Minimum level C1.
  • Driver’s license B and the ability to travel and perform duties on-site
  • Availability to work in rotating overnight shifts
  • Availability to travel to wind farms and solar plants; both national and international

Essential Functions:

IT support specialists are responsible for:

  • 24/7 Phone and email assistance for troubleshooting
  • Monitoring server status to identify opportunities to improve performance and execute preventive maintenance tasks to assure maximum performance and minimize incidents
  • Ensuring backups are reliable and periodically up to date as described in the SLA
  • Troubleshoot systems to determine technical issues and fix them within the guidelines of the SLA
  • Building and nurturing a strong relationship with our clients to ensure the highest customer satisfaction
    Traveling and performing installation, configuration and/or analysis tasks onsite
  • Providing assistance in the use of our systems to users

Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Product Manager, you will contribute to the development and evolution of our product CompactSCADA®. CompactSCADA is a reliable real-time SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) software solution designed specifically for the management of renewable energy facilities. Its capabilities allow Green Eagle Solutions team to maintain and support legacy OEM SCADAs by retrofitting them with new and more modern functionalities.

This position will report results to the Product Manager.

We are looking for:

  • Require a minimum of a technical degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in C#
  • At least 2 years of experience in Angular 6, HTML, CSS3
  • Experience in Javascript frameworks such as Dev Extreme
  • Experience using Visual Studio
  • Experience in graphic design tools such as Photoshop and/or Gimp.

Essential Functions:

  • Development of new functionalities to create new interfaces and features as specified by the Product Manager.
  • Ensuring that the workflow and programming methodology is followed
  • Ensuring quality and reliability of the product by validating new functionalities and troubleshooting
  • Documentation of all generated code per company policy
